- Mentor students within the communications section, enhancing academic success and professional development.
- Plan, coordinate, and direct media and public relations activities for intercollegiate sports.
- Act as the primary media contact for public relations activities for specified sport programs.
- Establish and maintain statistics and records for historical and current program information.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- Two years of experience in NCAA Division I communications.
- Advanced knowledge of PC and Apple computers, graphic design, and social media platforms.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Typical office environment activity.
- Occasional travel may be required.
- Full time (37.5 hours/week).
- Varied schedule based on the demands of the position including nights, weekends, and holidays.
