    Job Description:

    • The role focuses on customer solutions involving high-volume, mission-critical OLTP/OLAP environments.
    • We design and deploy future-state, petabyte-scale data warehouse services using RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB, and Redshift.
    1. Collaborate with AWS Platform Service Engineering and Architecture teams to support project consulting engagements with customers.
      Conduct solution design reviews and architecture sessions to ensure alignment with customer requirements.
    2. Work directly with customers' technical resources to devise solutions based on clearly understood requirements. Analyze complex distributed production deployments for optimal performance recommendations.
    Ideally suited for an individual who thinks strategically about business/product challenges in enterprise environments to inform solution design.The key qualifications include BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline followed by 5 years of experience in database administration/data engineering.Experience must include at least 5 years DBA experience working Oracle/SQLOS platforms,the ability migrate mission critical databases between platforms.Working knowledge is also required of Shell Perl Python Scripting along the lines TPLPGSQHSTS stages.Ideal individuals can work across Amazon’s operations worldwide through domestic travel upto 25%.
