    RN Position Job Notes:

    Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

    RN - Trauma ICU

    Job Details:


    • Work evening shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
    • 36 guaranteed hours per week
    • Weekend hours as needed on rotating basis
    • No call requirements
    • Float to ICU and any progressive unit as needed
    • Patient ratio typically 1:2, may vary during shift based on needs
    • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
    • Must have 1+ years of experience
    • Must have cardiac/open heart and CABG experience
    • Work with equipment including CRRT machine, Abbott Balloon pump, External Vent Drain, Impella, PrismaFlex
    • Use EPIC electronic medical record system
    • Care for heart surgery and neuro patients (stroke, brain surgery)
    • Dress code requires black scrubs
    • Flu vaccination required from November 1-April 1 (exemptions must be client approved)
    • Must be competent team player with good work ethic and flexibility
    • Expected to work every other full weekend and at least one major winter holiday
    • Up to 5 days time off can be automatically approved per 13-week assignment

    Facility:

    This is a 244-bed hospital serving over 600,000 people across 22 counties in Southeast Missouri and Southern Illinois. The facility features a 14-bed Cardiothoracic Unit that will soon expand to 26 beds with a new unit opening. The hospital provides comprehensive cardiac care including open heart surgery and CABG procedures, along with neurological services for stroke and brain surgery patients. The facility maintains modern equipment and technology to support high-acuity patient care.
