    Description


    As part of the Civil Engineering team, you will prepare designs for earthwork, underground utilities, roads, foundations, and profiles related to DOD and USAF projects.

    Your role involves supporting design development by creating studies, drawings, calculations, specifications, data sheets, and evaluations following applicable procedures, codes, standards, and contract requirements.

    Collaboration with other Civil Engineers and technical disciplines within a team environment is essential.

    Additionally, you'll develop grading and backfill designs, create road and foundation designs, assist with boring oversight and site inspections, perform formal calculations, review vendor information from subcontractors, and maintain high-quality work while meeting schedule requirements.

    Close coordination with other technical disciplines ensures effective planning and execution as an integrated team

    Experience working with procedures meeting quality assurance programs, such as ISO-9000.


    • Experience with use or knowledge of Revit and/or InRoads.
    • Intermediate knowledge of developing CSI MasterFormat specifications, or SpecsIntact.
    • Experience in complex excavation approaches and construction execution.
    • Experience executing design development and producing design documents for government customers following the Unified Facilities Criteria and the Whole Building Design Guide, including drawings, UFGS specifications, and calculations.
    • Master of Science in Civil Engineering or a related Engineering discipline from an accredited course of study.
    • Prior experience working with government agencies, preferably the Department of Defense.
    • Masters Degree in Engineering/STEM
    • Active Secret Clearance
    • 9+ years of professional experience as a Civil Engineer
    • Experience with Microsoft Office programs, VISIO, and other common computer programs.
    • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
    • Ability to utilize office automation tools effectively.
    • Knowledge of industry and regulatory guides, codes, and standards, as well as customer corporate guides and standards.
    • Knowledge of relevant specifications.
    • Broad knowledge of the application of Civil Engineering design principles.
    • Registered Professional Engineer in the U. S. (Civil or Structural Engineering).
    • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, or related
    • Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
