    Job Title: Real-Time Social Media Engagement Manager
    Reports to: Director of Social Media Marketing
    Location: Hybrid or Remote
    Employment Status: Full-Time/Salaried/Exempt

    Overview:
    The Real-Time Social Media Engagement Manager is pivotal in Live Action's mission to connect with audiences through timely and engaging content. This role is ideal for a dynamic individual who thrives in the fast-paced environment of social media, staying ahead of trends and breaking news across various platforms.

    The position may be remote; however, candidates based in Orange County, CA will be given preference.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Continuously monitor the news cycle to identify key moments and viral events that align with Live Action's mission.
    • Craft and deploy compelling, on-brand posts quickly in response to real-time developments, fostering engagement and thought leadership.
    • Proactively spot emerging trends and cultural moments that Live Action can respond to, enhancing our reputation as a reliable source.
    • Effectively handle rapid-response communications during crises, ensuring that messaging is timely, on-brand, and impactful.
    • Integrate rapid-response strategies with the content calendar to maintain a balanced posting pace and avoid saturation.
    • Engage with audiences and influencers, nurturing a positive community dialogue around pro-life issues.
    • Support day-to-day social media efforts and collaborate with the Director of Social Media Marketing to align content with organization goals.

    Skills & Experience:

    • A solid understanding of the algorithms and trends on platforms like X/Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok, particularly in video content.
    • Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle high-pressure situations effectively.
    • Exceptional writing skills, capable of creating succinct and impactful posts on short notice.
    • Familiarity with social media analytics tools and content management systems.
    • Insight into the political, cultural, and social media landscapes relevant to Live Action's mission.
    • Comfort in a fast-paced environment, managing high volumes of posts and engagement efficiently.
    • Experience in crisis communications or rapidly evolving media contexts is a plus.
