- Assist Pharmacist in filling drug orders in accordance with Pharmacy Policy
- Completes and documents daily and monthly Quality Assurance (QA) checklists including nursing unit inspections, temperature logs, IV Cleaning records, and expired medication checklists
- Correctly and safely delivers drugs to the designated location/person, maintaining visual contact with the delivery cart always
- Routinely rotates stock to ensure inventory remains current, using required stickers and appropriately inspecting assigned areas monthly
- Articulates and demonstrates a professional image daily to patients, visitors and other professionals
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Currently enrolled in an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy required

Nashville General Hospital is hiring a Pharmacist Intern for our Inpatient Pharmacy on a PRN Basis
Pharmacy Intern performs tasks within the pharmacy in direct support of the ongoing duties and responsibilities of a pharmacist with occasional guidance. Pharmacy Intern assists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining the drug inventory, and maintaining patient records. Pharmacy Intern works only under the supervision of a registered pharmacist in accordance with the laws, rules, and regulations of the state. Performs other duties as assigned.
