Our core competencies include drug metabolism, pharmacokinetics/ pharmacodynamics (PK/PD), safety and toxicology, bioanalytical services, chemistry and manufacturing controls for drug development, and core laboratory services for clinical trials.

    Position/Job Summary:

    The Laboratory Vendor Management Specialist is responsible for overseeing and managing Frontage Central Lab's relationships with multiple laboratory vendors. This role is critical for ensuring that all vendors meet Frontage's standards for quality, efficiency, and compliance in conducting Phase 1, 2, and 3 clinical trials.

    Roles & Responsibilities:
    • Vendor Selection and Onboarding:
    Evaluate and select laboratory vendors based on quality, cost, and capability.
    • Quote Management:
    Obtain, analyze, and negotiate quotes from vendors for various laboratory services.
    • Quality Metrics:
    Monitor and evaluate vendor performance based on predefined quality metrics.
    • Turnaround Time:
    Ensure vendors meet or exceed agreed-upon turnaround times for test results.
    • Invoicing:
    Review and approve vendor invoices, ensuring they align with contracted terms.
    • Reference Ranges Harmonization:
    Work with vendors to harmonize reference ranges across different laboratories.
    • Compliance:
    Ensure all vendors comply with industry standards and regulations.
    • Communication:
    Serve as the primary point of contact between Frontage Central Lab and laboratory vendors.
    • Reporting:
    Generate regular reports on vendor performance, cost-effectiveness, and compliance.
    • Continuous Improvement:
    Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
    • Other Duties
    Other duties as assigned.

    Education, Experience & Skills Required:

    Bachelors Degree or Higher with 2-3 years experience in a clinical laboratory, research setting or CRO; vendor management experience preferred:
    High level of accountability with self and others
