    Do you enjoy having regular 3-day weekends all summer long? Do you have electrical, hydraulic, PLC programming and maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting? We are currently hiring for a night shift Industrial Maintenance Technician in a production facility.

    POSITION – PLC Maintenance Tech

    JOB LOCATION – Trempealeau County, Wisconsin

    STARTING DATE – Immediately

    EMPLOYMENT TERM – Temp-to-Hire

    EMPLOYMENT TYPE – Full-Time

    WORK HOURS (SHIFT) – Night shift (Mon-Thurs, 4:45pm-4:45am) **TRAINING = Mon & Tues 4:45pm-4:45am. Wed 2/3pm-10pm. Thurs 4:30pm until done.

    STARTING PAY – $25-$35 per hour DOE

    BENEFITS – Medical, Vision, Dental, 401(K), Paid Vacation, Paid Holidays, Referral Bonus

    REQUIRED EDUCATION – High School Diploma/GED preferred but not required

    REQUIRED EXPERIENCE – Five years or more of Maintenance experience required

    While working as a back-up lead we need someone who, in addition to working the line, is able to do paperwork and a few other duties. Those duties can include: Verifying the accuracy of the scales & recording the results, temperature checks & weight checks of raw and finished product, recording the waste amount of each production run, and testing the metal detector.

    Responsibilities:

    • Troubleshooting electrical systems – 460V down to 24 V/PLC's
    • Troubleshooting mechanical issues/problem solving
    • General welding and hydraulic power systems
    • Preventive maintenance administration
    • Technical data interpretation
    • Wide variety of hand and power tools operation
    • Equipment maintenance
    • Monitoring hot press operation/cleaning and maintaining dies

    Qualifications:


    •High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.


    •Be able to stand your entire shift.


    •Ability to adapt to change in priorities on a daily basis.


    •Ability to solve practical problems.


    •Ability to follow written or verbal instructions and strong verbal communication skills.


    •Ability to pay attention to detail.


    •Must have Maintenance experience including electrical, welding, hydraulic skills and more.
