- Reviews customer purchase orders to confirm available capacity and lead times.
- Creates master schedule for all manufacturing operations from customer orders and provides customer ship dates.
- Analyzes manufacturing capacity data and provides feedback to manufacturing operations for machine and resource planning.
- Communicates with all manufacturing leaders to ensure awareness of supply chain or customer issues that may impact manufacturing processes.
- Clearly understands escalation plans to ensure customer objectives are met and that customer service is aware of any issues which may cause delays of customer expectations.
- Maintain active and open communication with buyer / planner to coordinate and schedule raw materials for production.
- Understands manufacturing processes in order to be more efficient in planning.
- Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of ERP modules which impact planning. Is a SME in all planning modules.
- Actively participates in continuous improvement activities.
- Suggests and implements improvement in areas of cost reduction, processes, quality, and productivity.
- Develop and achieve departmental / company goals and controls.
- Must be familiar with FDA and ISO standards as it relates to HVO's quality system.
- Must be aware of applicable HVO safety rules and regulations.
- Perform non-routine tasks as requested by immediate supervisor.
- Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively all departments for maximum efficiency.
- Be willing to attend recommended training as requested.
- Demonstrate willingness and ability to accept work assignments in other work areas.
- Understanding of ERP system and Microsoft Office products.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in planning, scheduling, forecasting or multi-tasking.
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet strict deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, including good customer service / phone skills and flexibility for handling a wide range of activities.
- Able to lift up to 20 lbs.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field and/or equivalent experience.
