- Meets the defined sales targets and KPI in a defined sales territory.
- Develop and implement a sales strategy in conjunction with the BU Sales Manager.
- Provide advice on the appropriate application of each company product.
- Spend at least 3 days per week in front of customers.
- Ability to work from a home office and maintain communication with the office and customer base while travelling in the territory.
- Identifies unique requirements and consults with application engineering on special solutions.
- Provides product/application technical presentations, price quotations and customer proposals as required.
- Will perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in an appropriate engineering discipline from an accredited four (4) year college plus Ten (10) years' experience in technical sales. Preferred engineering disciplines are Mechanical and Electrical Engineering.
- Training and experience with highly dynamic and quasi-static measurements and analysis.
- Experience in the application of transducers, associated electronics and software highly dynamic measurement applications - Preferred include Pressure, Force, Acceleration Torque, Signal Conditioning and DAQ for Test and Measurement applications.
- Technical knowledge of dynamic and quasi-static transducers and associated electronics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be a US Citizen due to customer base requirements.
- Physical requirements: ability to lift 50 pounds; available to travel 80% of the time either by car (valid license required) or airplane depending on which is more cost efficient.
