Job summary
This position is for a Cytogenetics Technologist who will work under the supervision of the Cytogenetic Manager and Supervisor to provide high-quality cytogenetic testing. The technologist will collect and prepare biological specimens for analysis using aseptic techniques and appropriate containers.Responsibilities
- Cultures cells of various types using appropriate biohazard and/or aseptic techniques.
- Selects appropriate culture media for specific specimens and monitors cell growth.
