Information Systems Security Engineer with Security Clearance - Charleston, United States - Joint Tactics and Technologies

JTT has an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Information Systems Security Engineer. This is an immediate fill, funded position on a multi–year project.


Required skills:
– Ability to produce technical artifacts needed in RMF Steps 1, 2, 3, and 4
– Operate security tools including ACAS, NMAP, Wireshark, and/or SRR scripts, and perform Security Controls Implementation
– Ability to interact with Software development team, systems administrators and management to resolve security issues
– Ability to support engineering teams as an Information System Security Engineer (ISSE)
– Implement STIGS on LINUX and WIN operating systems
– Conduct root cause analysis of security test failures and make recommendations
– Experience with Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (EMASS)

Required knowledge:
– Detailed understanding of DoD product and approval processes for system Assessments and Authorizations (A&A)
– RMF Steps 1, 2, 3 and 4
– ISSE roles and responsibilities Experience with at least 3 of the following technologies: – RedHat Enterprise Linux
– VMWare/virtualization
– Windows client and server
– Routing (WAN/LAN)
– Active Directory

– Messaging services Desired:
– Familiarity with IATS and DADMS/DITPRDON web registration sites
– Familiarity with the SPAWAR RMF Process Guide McAfee ePO tool suite, and experience with VMWare ESX or other virtual machine solutions Applicant: – Is a US Citizen
– Able to work with and lead individuals to deliver products on time and with high quality Desired Certs and Experience: – SANS IA certs
– GIAC
– CISSP/CASP

– CISCO CCNP Education:
– Desire Bachelor's Degree in technical discipline plus 4 years of relevant experience, or commensurate experience

Security Clearance:
– All candidates MUST have at least an active SECRET clearance
– TOP SECRET is preferred
