    Description
    Senior Quality Engineer
    Racine, Wisconsin - Direct Hire
    Productive Resources ) is seeking a candidate to be part of our customer's team at their facility in Racine, Wisconsin. You will perform activities related to quality including planning and implementation of the company quality management program.

    This is a direct hire position for our customers with the opportunity of professional growth, and additional opportunities within their organization.


    Duties:


    Develop and implement programs to establish and maintain quality standards of existing products and services, as well as developing programs to focus employees on quality improvement.

    Conduct nondestructive examination (NDE) and quality control (QC) inspections on products, materials, components, parts, etc., at different stages of the production process to ensure compliance with established quality and reliability standards.

    Collect and analyze statistical data from processes to either confirm compliance with established standards or identify deviations from standards.

    Develop, assure, and maintain the quality of products and processes, including standard procedures (e.g., ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14000 family of standards), quality audits/review, Taguchi methods, process re-engineering, etc.

    Develop policies, procedures, and methods to evaluate and improve the quality of products, materials, components and/or operations.
    Recommend new or enhanced methods, procedures, and standards

    Requirements:
    Bachelor's degree in engineering
    8+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment

    Preferred Skills:
    Experience in heavy equipment/off-road vehicle industry
    Supplier quality experience
    ISO 9001 system experience
    Prior experience in union environment
    Experience providing quality engineering support in grey iron machining environment.
