    We are currently seeking a Senior Sales Tax Accountant


    who will support our Business Unit Support Services team and report to our Senior Manager of Sales & Use Tax and Licensing.


    To include, but not limited to the following:

    Perform Accounting & Finance Functions:
    Journal EntriesAccount ReconciliationsResearch, Analysis, and Issue ResolutionPrepare, Configure, and Consolidate ReportingMonth-End, Quarter-End, and Year-End Close ResponsibilitiesSales & Use Tax FilingsIndirect Tax Return Filings (Net Profits, Business Occupation, Gross Receipts)Handling Sales & Use Tax Notices

    Improve Accounting & Finance processes (Simplify, Standardize, & Automate)

    Participate and/or Lead on Special ProjectsTrain and Mentor Staff on tax returns and processesResearch nexus triggers and risk assessment of business operations performed around tax and licensingProvide administrative and licensing compliance supportMaintain SOX ControlsSupport the APi Companies and APi Group with ad-hoc items as neededSupport the ERP and ISV systems as needed, including:
    System Configurations, User Testing, and Issue Resolution, etc.


    Utilize tools such as Power Query and BIQualifications:4+ years of relevant experienceBachelor's Degree in related fieldCompetencies and Skills:Shows AccountabilityCoaches / Develops OthersShows ConfidenceManages ConflictPlans / OrganizesSolves ProblemsBenefits and Compensation:This role can be performed remotely from any office in the United States.

    The pay range is $70,000 - $105,000, depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

    This position is eligible for annual bonus and profit sharing based on company performance in addition to other benefits that support the total well-being of you and your family.
