We're seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Staff Pharmacist to provide exceptional pharmaceutical care to our community in beautiful Moab, Utah.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a retail pharmacy setting while enjoying the stunning landscapes and vibrant community of Moab.

Non-exempt, full-time, benefitted position

Anticipated Schedule: 40 hours/week, with a variable schedule to cover retail pharmacy operating hours

Starting Pay Range: $63 $66/hour

Pharmacist Duties:
1.

Pharmacy Operations:
- Ensure efficient day-to-day pharmacy operations, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct audits, and implement strategies to optimize inventory.
- Collaborate with suppliers to order medications and maintain accurate transaction records.
- Understand and maintain compliance with the federal 340B program.

Medication Dispensing/Patient Care:
- Accurately interpret and dispense prescription medications.
- Conduct medication reviews and ensure accurate patient records.
- Provide immunizations and personalized consultations to patients.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve prescription-related issues promptly.

Training and Education:
- Supervise and train pharmacy technicians and students.
- Stay updated on licensure and education requirements.

4.

Community Engagement:
- Represent the pharmacy in community outreach events.
- Build and maintain relationships with healthcare providers and stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy.
Current, full, and unrestricted license to practice pharmacy in the State of Utah.
Excellent communication, human relation, and computer skills.
Selfmotivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

Three or more years of experience in a retail pharmacy setting.
APhA Immunization Certification.
Prior pharmacy management experience.
