- Establish EMC laboratory, including equipment selection and coordination with equipment vendor on requirements for installation and building conditioning in alignment with Service Division
- Manage daily operations of laboratory, ensuring DEKRA's high quality of service
- Lead EMC lab team, ensuring DEKRA culture and values based on teamwork, collaboration, customer centricity and technical excellence. Foster professional development of team members
- Achieving and maintaining Quality Standards and accreditations pertinent to the business, such as ISO17025,
- Achieving and maintaining Automotive OEM recognitions, establishing close relationship with key leaders for each major OEM
- Organizing equipment maintenance and repairs
- Partner with sales and business development to engage customers, show our expertise and address customer needs, leveraging existing customer relationships
- Develop new services, in cooperation with DEKRA Management and Business Development teams
- Education: bachelor's degree in engineering (Master's Preferred)
- Experience: Minimum 10 years of Automotive EMC testing and lab management
- Close relationship with key leaders at automotive OEMs, and knowledge of Automotive OEM EMC test programs and related test requirements
- Experience scaling revenue within a small to mid-sized growth-oriented company
- Strong organizational, communication, leadership and time management skills; self-directed and able to handle multiple priorities with demanding timeframes
- Ability to collaborate seamlessly across the organization
- Demonstrated creativity and innovation in business, including leadership and relationship building
- Ability to work in a Laboratory environment; extended periods of computer-based work
- Ability to work extended periods of time and work through evenings, and weekends.
- Ability to be on one's feet - this includes:
- remaining in a stationary position (often standing for prolonged periods)
- ascending and/or descending stairs
- walking long distances (from parking to facility, within and around the facility - up to 5 miles/day)
- walking on rough and uneven terrain
- walking through client work facilities
- Ability to constantly move about to accomplish tasks or move from one work location to another
- Ability to perform repetitive motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers
- Ability to lift, adjust and/or move tools, supplies, or materials up to 50lbs in all directions
- Ability to occasionally move and conduct work with full range of motion in different body positions to accomplish tasks in various locations including tight and confined spaces
- Ability to possibly remain in a seated, stationary position for prolonged periods
- Extended periods of computer-based work

Compensation:
Pay for this position is $165,000 annually to $190,000 annually. Actual pay is based on several factors including market location and position-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
