    Description

    PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
    Provide skilled craftsmanship for installation of all types of concrete formwork. Including in wall and roof blocking, installation of doors frames and hardware, and finish carpentry.
    The base compensation range for this role is $25-$33 per hour.

    Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skill and experience with consideration given to internal equity.

    KEY RESULT AREAS (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)

    Studies blueprints, sketches or building plans for information pertaining to type of material required, such as lumber or fiberboard.

    Measures the dimensions of structure of fixture to be fabricated
    Build decks, stairs, roofs and other temporary structures between office units, plan tables, install shelves, setup tool trailers and/or conex's, per plans
    Hand-set forms and/or assemble the gang forms
    Accountabilities
    Assist others with the shooting of grades and elevations
    The unloading, handling, stockpiling, and erecting of all pre-fabricated materials
    Concrete and rough carpentry
    Handset Walls
    Footings
    Set Gang Wall Forms
    Structural Concrete Decks
    In-wall and roof-blocking
    Finish Carpentry, doors, frames, and hardware
    All other duties as assigned

    Pictures of solid objects from drawings or diagrams
    Must be able to speak and understand English

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
    A high school diploma or GED is preferred
    Trade or technical school certification/diploma is a plus
    A minimum of four years of experience as a carpenter
