- Calculate, review, and calendar all state, federal, appellate, Office of Administration Hearing (among others) deadlines in the Firms calendar/docketing system.
- Review and process incoming and outgoing mail, faxes, emails, and e-filings to ensure important deadlines are calendared.
- Maintain case matter lists to ensure correct personnel are listed for accurate Outlook integration.
- Create, update, and distribute deadlines, hearings, and calendar reports.
- Promptly respond to timekeeper and assistant inquiries.
- Ensure all calendaring deadlines provided are accurate.
- 2-4 years of law firm experience required.
- Strong knowledge of appellate, federal, state, and local rules and procedures as well as litigation terminology.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong customer service orientation.
- Exceptional organizational skills; must be able to prioritize workload and competing deadlines in a fast paced environment.
- Attention to detail.
- Proficiency in calendar/docketing software.
- CompuLaw experience preferred.
- Ability to research hearings/deadlines utilizing state and federal court websites, as needed.
- Ability to work overtime to meet the department workload needs.
