    Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding an OB/GYN physician to the group at Gotham Health/Bushwick Communicare, an ambulatory FQHC community-based practice for the NYC Health + Hospitals System.

    The Center emphasizes primary and preventive care, working to help identify and achieve health goals. Gotham Health/ Bushwick Communicare is located in a dynamic and vibrant area of Brooklyn, within the vicinity of the Barclay center, Atlantic, Museums, BAM, Parks and very easy access to Manhattan

    40-hour work week (Monday - Friday, including some late night and Saturday coverage)
    ~ GYNECOLOGY RESPONSIBILITIES
    Provides primary health care to non-pregnant; asymptomatic women for health maintenance, including family planning services.
    Recognizes deviations from normal and refer to appropriate medical/social services.
    Manages therapy for specific gynecology disorders.

    Supports and instructs the patient with respect to problems specific to female health, including counseling related to sexuality, family dynamics, infertility, family planning, self-breast examination, and menopause.


    OBSTETRICS RESPONSIBILITIES
    Establish the status of the present pregnancy and identify risks, present or potential.
    Board Certification or Eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
    Choice of a three tiered, starting at FREE medical plans starting day one
    ~ Excellent dental insurance including orthodontics coverage starting day one
    ~ Eligibility for loan forgiveness through the National Student Debt Forgiveness Center
    ~ Visa candidates are considered
