    Description
    The College of Business and Analytics of Southern Illinois University Carbondale is seeking a variable-time Clinical Assistant Professors or Assistant Lecturers to teach specialized MPA curriculum courses in nonprofit administration and management beginning August 16, 2024. This is a term, non-tenure-track appointment that is renewable contingent on performance, curricular need and budget. Employment is for the Fall 2024 semester, Spring 2025 and Summer 2025 with possible employment for ensuing semesters, contingent on performance, programmatic need, and budget availability.

    Examples of Duties
    The Clinical Assistant Professors or Assistant Lecturers will teach specialized MPA curriculum courses in nonprofit administration and management.

    Qualifications
    Minimum Qualifications:
    For appointment to the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor, applicants must hold a doctoral degree in Public Administration or a related social science discipline with minimum of 5 years of professional experience.
    For appointment to the rank of Assistant Lecturer, applicants must hold a master's degree in public administration or a related social science field and minimum 10 years of tested professional experience, which includes, e.g., professional certification(s), professional licensure, awards and/or recognition for professional performance.
    All applicants must provide evidence of high-quality instruction.
    Preferred Qualifications:
    Preference will be given to applicants with experience in
    teaching/training professionals or non-traditional students,
    teaching the course topics of fund raising, grant writing, lobbying, public relations, volunteer recruitment, or other relationship management skills.
