    Job Summary The Division of Behavioral Health at Children#s Hospital of Alabama is seeking a clinical psychologist with special interest and expertise in providing outpatient and inpatient consultation services to children, adolescents, and their families presenting with the full range of eating disorders.

    The ideal candidate will participate in program development focusing on the treatment of eating disorders and work to form a strong interdisciplinary relationship with the University of Alabama at Birmingham Division of Adolescent Medicine.# As the program grows, the position will also include referrals from within the division for the treatment of general psychological concerns common among children and adolescents including anxiety, depression, trauma, and challenging behavior.

    Knowledge and implementation of evidence-based care and experience functioning within a treatment team are expected.#In addition to direct patient care and program development, this position may include training and supervision of learners through the University of Alabama at Birmingham#s APA-accredited psychology pre-doctoral and internship programs and the hospital#s pediatric training programs.

    Licensures, Certifications, and/or Registries Current license to practice or eligible for licensure in Alabama. Experience Completed internship from American Psychological Association-accredited program required. Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Child/Adolescent Services preferred. Experience working on multidisciplinary teams preferred. Experience working with adolescents and families facing complex biopsychosocial conditions preferred. Education Doctoral degree (Ph.
    D. or Psy.
    D.) in clinical psychology, pediatric psychology, or child clinical psychology.
