About the role:

• Evaluate and select appropriate automation technologies, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems and distributed control systems (DCS).
• Partner with engineering and operations teams to optimize automation solutions for specific production environments and requirements.
• Oversee the design, development, and implementation of automation projects, ensuring seamless integration with existing manufacturing systems and equipment.
• Work closely with regulatory agencies and internal compliance teams to address any regulatory issues or concerns related to automation projects.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in electrical, mechanical, chemical or other engineering discipline.
• Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale automation projects from conception to implementation.
• Minimum 10 years experience with Rockwell Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Ignition, PlantPAx and Emerson DeltaV control systems.
• Experience managing at least 10 direct reports.
• Experience managing a budget of at least 5 million.
