    Job Description

    Responsibilities:

    • ServiceNow ITOM Administration:
    • Configure and maintain ServiceNow ITOM modules including Discovery, Service Mapping and Cloud Accelerate to ensure optimal performance and accurate representation of the IT infrastructure.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and implement ITOM solutions that align with organizational objectives.
    • CMDB Automation:
    • Design, develop, and implement automation strategies for populating and maintaining the CMDB using ServiceNow Discovery and other automation tools.
    • Create and customize discovery patterns to accurately identify and classify configuration items (CIs) within the IT environment.
    • Integration and Orchestration:
    • Integrate ServiceNow ITOM with other IT systems and tools to facilitate seamless data flow and interoperability.
    • Leverage ServiceNow Orchestration for automating workflows and tasks related to IT Operations Management.
    • Documentation:
    • Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of configurations, automation scripts, and processes related to ServiceNow ITOM and CMDB.
    • Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with IT teams, stakeholders, and end-users to understand their needs and provide effective solutions that enhance IT service delivery.

    Skills/Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
    • ServiceNow Certification, with a focus on ITOM, such as Certified Implementation Specialist – IT Operations Management.
    • Proven experience in ServiceNow ITOM administration, including hands-on experience with Discovery and Service Mapping.
    • Strong scripting skills, particularly in JavaScript, for customizing and automating ServiceNow processes.
    • Experience in CMDB automation and a deep understanding of Configuration Management concepts.
    • Familiarity with integration techniques and APIs, ensuring seamless connectivity between ServiceNow and other IT systems.
    • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
    • Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
