    About Us

    For more than 52 years, the medical experts of BMMSA have been providing personalized care to patients in the Philadelphia region. Our patients have seamless access to 80 highly-trained physicians in 11 specialties and primary care. This integration of primary and specialty care allows our providers to improve communication by using a shared medical chart at various stages of care. Our physicians, nurses and staff work as a team to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care with a "whole person" approach.

    Our Heart & Vascular Center is looking for a full-time Cardiovascular Interventional Technologist to work in our Fluoroscopy Suite for Coronary, Peripheral Vascular, and EP. This candidate must have 1-2 years of experience. A part-time candidate would also be considered.

    Responsibilities:

    Perform vascular ultrasound examinations using sonography equipment

    Apply aseptic technique during procedures to maintain a sterile environment

    Assess patient vital signs and obtain relevant medical history

    Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to accurately identify and evaluate vascular structures

    Perform diagnostic evaluations to assess blood flow and detect abnormalities

    Assist with cardiac catheterization procedures as needed

    Maintain accurate and detailed records of procedures and patient information

    Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive patient care

    Requirements:

    Certification as a Vascular Technologist or Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVS/RVT)

    Proficient in performing vascular ultrasound examinations using sonography equipment

    Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology, specifically related to the vascular system

    Familiarity with medical terminology and ability to accurately document findings

    Ability to assess vital signs and monitor patient comfort during procedures

    Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals

    Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to maintain accurate records

    BLS required

    ACLS required or will obtain within 3 months
