    Position Specific Description


    • Communicate production discrepancies/issues and communicate information with direct reports. Performs initial troubleshooting.


    • Deploy field adjustments as guided from direct reports and/or engineering team.


    • Enter daily production readings, well test readings, run tickets, downtime and other pertinent well information into the production system (Field Operator).


    • Performs basic repair and routine maintenance of production and facility equipment. Submits work orders for larger repairs.


    • Assist in maintenance schedule items and projects outlined by direct reports.


    • Manage oil sales and water disposal from leases covered. Advises water and oil haulers when product is ready for transportation.


    • Monitor chemical usage.


    • Ensure equipment is in working order and at proper settings to minimize downtime/eliminate flaring at site.


    • Interaction with supervisors to optimize equipment and well performance.


    • Maintains general lease/well appearances and signage.


    • Conducts daily surveillance of well performance and facility status utilizing SCADA. Respond to alarms and callouts as required in timely manner.


    • Ensure smooth transition between shifts by highlighting trouble wells with lease operator on next shift.


    • Attend and participate in monthly safety meetings and well reviews for route.


    • Report any environmental incidents or potential environmental incidents immediately.


    • Follow Lease Operator Daily Round SOP to ensure all field equipment meet operational standards.


    • Complete monthly trainings, BBS, JSAs, and other applicable forms in KPA.


    • Complies with all regulatory, environmental, and Trinity Operating standards.

    Job Overview


    This position is responsible for monitoring and reporting on production and other pertinent well information. Employees in this role provide maintenance on production equipment and ensure the secure and environmentally safe operation of wells and leases.

    Job Duties & Responsibilities

    • Gauges production on assigned wells
    • Reports on gauge readings, and downtime
    • Performs lease maintenance such as minor surface pump and production equipment repairs and adjustments; trim weeds, clean up trash
    • Notes problems and recommends courses of action
    • Assists in witnessing meter calibrations
    • Monitors rates and pressures on injection and disposal wells and makes necessary adjustments
    • Monitors chemical use and tests safety systems daily to maximize daily production
    • Assists with down hole pump changes, tubing replacement, etc. on artificially lifted wells
    • Assists with pump and compressor maintenance such as oil changes, obtaining oil sample for analysis, pulling compressor valves, tests and repairs
    • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

    Required Qualifications

    • Valid Driver's License (NON CDL)
    • High School Grad / GED
    • Experience: 5+ years
