    Who We're Looking For

    • Reporting to the Corporate Controller, this person will lead the efforts of the accounting team. From process implementation to team member development down to helping with accounting tasks as needed, you'll use your expertise to help ensure that all functions within the accounting department are smooth and efficient. This is a highvisibility, handson management role.

    Responsibilities:


    Manages the development, implementation and/or maintenance of one or more accounting systems: Journal entries, General Ledger, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payable, Revenue Reconciliation, etc.

    in accordance with GAAP policies and proceduresAssists with technical accounting matters as and when neededDesigns operational procedures and processes that meet audit standards and improve efficiencyEnsures integration of data produced into systemsSupports objectives of financial analystsEnsures the accurate compilation, analysis and reporting of accounting data and revenueParticipates in annual audits and special projectsOccasionally works with external consultants or auditors to provide required information and ensure proper record keeping for historical purposesSelects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure efficient operationsDirectly support accounting team with the preparation of analysis related to month-end and year-end journal entries and analysis of operating resultsOther duties as neededQualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or similar field of study preferred, CPA preferredAt leat 5+ years experience as an Accounting Manager and at least 1-year experience as a people leaderMust have retail industry experienceAdvanced NetSuite Experience and advanced Excel skillsComprehensive knowledge of accounting principles and proceduresStrong track record of process implementation and change managementExperience cultivating strong relationships and working effectively with all departmentsLeadership qualities that allow efficient and effective leadership of Accounting functionAnalytical, data-driven mindset and can apply strategic thinking to problem solve and drive company goals and outcomesVery comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and building out systems, tools, and processes from the ground up
