- Work in the Labor and Delivery unit of a hospital setting
- Provide care for laboring women, postpartum mothers and newborns, as well as GYN and breast surgery patients
- Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 19:00 – 07:00)
- Every other weekend required
- Floating within facility and scope of practice as needed
- Unit accepts first-time travelers
- Care for laboring women, postpartum mothers, newborns, and post-surgical GYN/breast surgery patients
- Must work assigned holidays according to facility holiday policy (no RTO for one or two major holidays in assignment; if three, only one holiday RTO may be requested with approval)
- Maximum of 7 days of RTO allowed, with no time off during the first week of assignment
- Local candidates accepted at the same rate
- Travel pairs cannot be scheduled for the same shift on the same unit
- Full compliance required for timely onboarding; delayed compliance may postpone start date
- Active GA or compact RN license required at time of consideration
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Labor and Delivery experience required
- Copies of all required certifications must be provided for consideration
- Two supervisory references (manager or above) are highly preferred for consideration
- Must be fully compliant prior to start date to attend bi-weekly orientation
- Returning travelers must have been away from all related facilities for at least 1 full year
