    Job Description:

    Position: Senior Solutions Architect (.NET/Java application background)

    Location: 3 days a week in Phoenix, AZ, Plano, TX, or Charlotte, NC

    Duration: 12+ month contract

    Pay Rate Range: 70-88/hr W2 (cannot work corp to corp or provide sponsorship at this time)

    Day to Day Responsibilities/Typical Day:

    Job Description:

    Provide innovative solutions within the Payment and Merchant Technology space. Deliver Omni-channel solutions across traditional and trending payment networks. Participate in design and creation of architecture deliverables, integration patterns, and performance optimization. Determine technical feasibility of solutions. May lead multiple projects. Serve as a technical resource with strong knowledge and capabilities. Influence and direct team activities. Mentor newer Architects.

    Required Skills:

    • 2-5+ years financial services industry experience
    • 2+ years payment implementation experience
    • Proven experience in payments/financial networks
    • Payment Processing and Merchant Services experience
    • Experience with solutions in a cloud environment, specifically AWS
    • Effective communication skills & attention to detail
    • Self-starter & independent thinker
    • Research, develop, and document technical design solutions
    • Strong use of visuals to convey points

    Desired Skills:

    • 5+ years large scale solution architecture experience
    • Knowledge of HSMs and security models
    • Network integration experience with 3rd party networks
    • Experience in application programming
    • Ability to write for multiple audiences
    • Simplify complex information
    • Understanding of working in large organizations
    • Familiarity with public and private cloud technology
