Job Description:

About the Job:
Responsible for application implementation and basic support including monitoring application information, basic configuration and assisting with application testing and workflow analysis.
The Application Analyst performs other IT-related activities at the discretion of the immediate supervisor or under the guidance of an Application Analyst II or higher.
What You'll Do:
Maintain basic configuration / master files as needed to support daily operations.
Assist with testing of basic application changes and upgrades.
Assist with workflow analysis, testing and configuration as needed.
Provides basic support and education to users.
Develops and maintains working relationships to enhance ability to meet goals and users' objectives.
Participate in on-call rotation, as required by Director.
Demonstrate a basic working knowledge of assigned applications, concepts, and practices.
Participates in mandatory ITS meetings and complies with ITS policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Complies with explicit instructions of ITS leadership regarding the operation of technology systems under the employee's responsibility.
Who You Are:
Education:
A High School diploma is required. A Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
Licensure/Certificate:
Vendor required certification in good standing (or proficiency if vendor accepts) for applications/modules employee is assigned to support.
If not currently certified (or proficient) employee will have 6 months from their DOH (Date of Hire) or DOT (Date of Transfer) into a position that requires certification (proficiency).
Experience:
A minimum of 2 years of experience using computer-based system(s) in a healthcare setting, analyst related role or equivalent related education is required.
