Our client is a Chicago-based high growth Real Estate Firm with affiliates active in real estate development, acquisitions, asset and property management, leasing and corporate real estate services.
They are currently seeking an analytical and entrepreneurial
Project Manager
to own the data and reporting of their growing portfolio. This is a tremendous opportunity to see a high volume of deal flow and be involved with a fast-growing company with a very entrepreneurial culture
Responsibilities for the Project Manager include:
Own the data base:
Oversee and update the Appfolio data base of a property management company
Daily oversight of tenant survey responses and required follow up
Daily oversight of CHA / RTA / HAP subsidy processes
Collect data and liaise with internal stakeholders:
Work with head of Field Operations and Corporate to ensure portfolios are trending towards their set benchmarks
Work with Contractors to track construction jobs from start to finish
Work with Property Managers to ensure database up to date for collection information
Work with Property Managers to ensure lease renewals are executed in a timely manner
Work with Property Managers to ensure work orders are completed in a timely manner
Reporting/Analysis:
Prepare biweekly attrition report
Provide a weekly/ Monthly/ annual analysis for net absorption
Provide a weekly/ Monthly/ annual analysis for unit turns
Provide a weekly/ monthly/ annual analysis for collection benchmarks
Provide a weekly/Monthly/ annual expense audit reports
Prepare monthly submission of tenant files
The successful candidate must possess the following:
Highly analytical with strong quantitative skills
Ability to work with a team to accomplish large scale goals
Ability to handle multiple projects at once
Willingness to help develop/ improve operational processes
Must be comfortable speaking directly with owners and high-level management
Individual should have strong financial acumen and firm understanding of real estate investment/property management concepts
Qualifications:
Minimum 2-5 years related experience preferably in residential real estate investment environment or equivalent combination of education and experience
Strong preference for Appfolio PM or comparable software experience
Compensation :
