- Conduct comprehensive due diligence on potential investment opportunities, including financial analysis, market research, and competitive analysis.
- Prepare investment memos, financial models, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist in the structuring, negotiation, and execution of investment transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, and growth capital investments.
- Work closely with portfolio company management teams to develop and implement strategic initiatives aimed at driving revenue growth, operational efficiency, and profitability.
- Monitor and track the performance of portfolio companies, including financial performance, operational metrics, and market dynamics.
- Support the fundraising process, including the preparation of marketing materials, investor presentations, and due diligence materials.
- Collaborate with other team members to evaluate new investment opportunities and develop investment theses based on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive positioning.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field; MBA or CFA designation preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in investment banking and 2 to 3+ years of experience in private equity with a focus on the healthcare and/or consumer industries.
- Strong financial modeling skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to synthesize complex information and draw meaningful insights.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with colleagues, management teams, and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Self-starter with a strong work ethic, high level of initiative, and willingness to take ownership of projects and tasks.
- Genuine interest in the healthcare and consumer sectors, with a passion for identifying and evaluating investment opportunities that create value for stakeholders.
