    A law firm in Los Angeles is seeking a Senior Intellectual Property Litigation Associate Attorney with 6+ years of experience in IP litigation, preferably with trial experience. The ideal candidate should have a technical background in software, computer science, electrical, or mechanical areas. They should also have experience independently conducting research, drafting substantive pleadings and motions, managing discovery practices, participating in hearings and depositions, and interfacing directly with clients. This role offers opportunities for active mentoring and increasing levels of responsibility and client contact.

    Duties:

    • Conduct legal research and analysis related to intellectual property litigation matters.
    • Draft substantive pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
    • Organize, conduct, and manage discovery practices.
    • Participate in hearings, depositions, and other court proceedings.
    • Interface directly with clients to provide legal advice and support.
    • Work closely with experienced lawyers to assume increasing levels of responsibility.
    • Provide high-quality client service and maintain strong client relationships.

    Requirements:

    • 6+ years of experience in intellectual property litigation.
    • Technical background in software, computer science, electrical, or mechanical areas.
    • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
    • Admission to the State Bar or eligibility for admission.
    • Trial experience preferred.
    • Strong academic credentials.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    Education:

    Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

    Admission to the State Bar or eligibility for admission.
