    About the Role:

    We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Bus Driver to join our team at Student Transportation of America. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting students to and from school, adhering to strict safety standards, and performing daily vehicle inspections.

    Job Overview:

    This part-time position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, interacting with students and colleagues while maintaining a safe and efficient transportation system.

    Responsibilities:

    • Drive a designated school bus route, picking up and dropping off students at established stops
    • Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safe operation
    • Participate in monthly safety meetings and adhere to company policies
    • Clean the bus as needed to maintain a professional appearance
    • Occasionally take field trips, activity trips, and charter runs

    Requirements:

    • 21 years or older
    • Minimum 5 years verifiable driving history
    • Clean driving record within the last 24-36 months
    • Ability to obtain a CDL
    • Completion of comprehensive training program
    • Pre-employment background checks
