    Position Summary

    We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst/Project Manager to join our dynamic IT team at MCE Automation.

    The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in bridging technology gaps, ensuring seamless integration of ERP systems, and driving process automation initiatives.

    Working closely with executives and key stakeholders, the successful candidate will contribute to defining and documenting requirements, developing and implementing solutions, and managing projects for successful technology implementations.

    The analyst will also work with internal and external subject matter experts to understand and address the complexities arising from the proliferation of ERPs.

    Essential Duties

    Collaborate with executives and key stakeholders to elicit, define, and document business requirements for technology solutions.

    Develop and implement solutions to meet the defined requirements, leveraging Microsoft tools (PowerBI, Azure,) and ERP systems (Epicor Prophet21, Tribute).

    Lead and manage projects for technology implementations, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

    Working with SMEs and Data Engineers, facilitate the integration of ERP systems into the Azure Synapse DataWarehouse for effective data analysis with PowerBI.

    Lead efforts to establish and implement a formal application change management process, ensuring a structured approach to application modifications and updates.

    Understand and automate critical processes, for example: sales commission calculations for sales representatives, to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

    Work closely with data analysts to address challenges related to data integration, providing solutions to incorporate data from recently acquired ERP systems and to standardize processes.

    Engage with stakeholders from various departments to understand diverse perspectives and priorities, fostering alignment for successful technology implementations.
    Facilitate collaboration with internal and external SMEs to comprehend and address complexities arising from diverse technology products.
    Work with cross-functional teams to create alignment, emphasizing effective communication and coordination.
    Take the initiative to stay up-to-date on industry best practices and methodologies, contributing to continuous improvement efforts.

    Required Skills/Abilities


    Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a technology-driven environment with expertise in Microsoft tools and other ERP systems.

    Fundamental understanding of data engineering concepts and experience in working with data analysts and data engineers for effective data utilization.

    Knowledge of application change management methodologies, with the ability to lead the implementation of formal processes.
    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on process automation and improvement.
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating with executives and stakeholders from diverse departments.
    Ability to lead and manage projects for technology implementations, ensuring successful delivery within specified timelines and budgets.
    Hands-on experience in developing and implementing solutions using Microsoft tools and other ERP systems.

    Proven ability to navigate challenges arising from mergers and acquisitions, with a proactive approach to integrate new systems into existing frameworks.

    Familiarity with key performance indicators (KPIs) and their use, development, and implementation.
    Experience working with external vendors and third parties, managing relationships and leveraging resources for project success.
    Exposure to agile and traditional waterfall project management methodologies, with knowledge of project management tools.
    Ability to build a foundation of documentation standards for the company, considering the unique requirements of technology implementations.

    Physical Requirements


    The physical requirements for this position are typical for a sedentary office environment including considerable time spent in a stationary position, at a desk using a computer terminal and keyboard.

    Movement about the office and standing are required occasionally.
