    This role is fully on-site for the initial training/onboarding period. Following that period 1-2 days remote weekly will be allowed

    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Operations Manager to oversee and manage our organization's IT infrastructure and operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and security of all IT systems and resources. They will collaborate closely with internal teams, external vendors, and senior management to implement and uphold IT policies, procedures, and best practices.

    Responsibilities:
    • Lead and supervise the IT team, ensuring they possess the requisite skills and resources for optimal performance. This involves establishing performance goals and delivering regular feedback, coaching, and guidance as necessary.
    • Supervise the upkeep and functionality of all IT infrastructure, encompassing servers, networks, and databases. This entails adhering to best practices in configuration and maintenance, guaranteeing alignment with business requirements.
    • Direct and execute cybersecurity protocols and resources to detect and counter active threats. Manage external vendors to achieve desired outcomes and enforce access controls to uphold the principle of least privilege.
    • Collaborate with the Chief Information Officer (CIO) to formulate and implement IT policies and procedures, encompassing disaster recovery and business continuity plans. Ensure these policies are current, well-communicated, and consistently enforced.
    • Evaluate IT system performance and recommend enhancements, addressing issues related to availability, performance, and scalability. Establish service level agreements (SLAs) between IT and other departments, overseeing resource allocation to meet SLAs and vendor performance.
    • Ensure adherence to pertinent laws and regulations governing IT systems and data, safeguarding systems and data in compliance with industry standards and regulations, and educating staff about their responsibilities.
    • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in the IT sector, identifying opportunities to enhance departmental capabilities. This involves researching new technologies, tools, and best practices, and keeping abreast of industry advancements.
    • Cultivate and manage relationships with key IT vendors and partners, selecting and overseeing vendors providing critical services or technologies to the organization.
    • Collaborate with senior leadership and end-users to identify, assess, recommend, and implement software solutions and systems to enhance operational efficiency and productivity

    Qualifications:
    • Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field
    • 5+ years IT management experience
