    In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the Engineering department by managing routine documentation and facilitating seamless communication between departments.

    *Position Overview:
    The Engineering Assistant will play a pivotal role in supporting the Engineering department by managing and routing routine documentation.

    Acting as a liaison between Engineering and Manufacturing, this individual will ensure the accurate preparation and maintenance of drawings and paperwork essential for production and fabrication processes.

    The incumbent will uphold accountability for their work, ensuring timely and precise outcomes. Confidentiality and discretion are paramount as this role involves access to sensitive design and proprietary information.

    *Key Responsibilities:

    • Adhere strictly to Company policies, confidentiality agreements, and codes of ethics.
    • Demonstrate expert proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel and Word, with a working knowledge of Access.
    • Generate production packs, label packs, owner's manuals, and blueprints as per Production Schedule and Service Orders.
    • Organize and manage offsite printed labels, maintaining appropriate inventory levels with supervisor approval.
    • Develop and maintain owner's manuals, ensuring accuracy and consistency in content.
    • Create and update bill of materials, assembly instructions, and related documentation for all products.
    • Manage multiple projects concurrently with meticulous attention to detail and organization.
    • Maintain the Engineering library and file system, ensuring accessibility and organization.
    • Assist in generating engineering correspondence to customers, vendors, etc., under supervisor guidance.
    • Support Engineering special projects and contribute to estimating jobs and prices.
    • Uphold meticulous attention to detail, maintain quality standards, adhere to deadlines, and exhibit strong organizational skills.
    *Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 3+ years of related experience required.
    • Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Access.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong organizational abilities with the ability to multitask effectively.
