    _Looking for a Lead A&P Mechanic in Fort Myers, FL_
    _Must have 5+ years of experience working on aircraft_Job Description**• Conduct routine and unscheduled inspections of piston engine airframes, identifying repair needs and maintenance issues.

    • Perform repairs, modifications, and replacements of aircraft components and systems as required, focusing on piston engines and related airframe structures.
    • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in piston engine aircraft, using diagnostic tools and technical manuals.
    • Complete all required maintenance records and logbook entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with FAA regulations.
    • Collaborate with other maintenance team members to enhance safety, efficiency, and quality of aircraft operations.
    • Stay current with the latest aircraft maintenance practices and technologies related to piston engine airframes.
    • Assist in the training and mentoring of junior mechanics and support staff

    Qualifications:



    • FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification required.
    • Proven experience working with piston engine aircraft and familiarity with their specific maintenance and repair issues.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
    • Excellent communication and documentation skills
