    Schedule: Varies- rotating (5:30AM-1PM) (6:30AM-3PM) (3PM-11PM) (11PM-7Am)

    Every Friday new schedule will be sent out for the following two weeks of shift schedule

    Projected duration: 6 months contract + potential Perm

    Description of Role:

    The nurse will operate within a research facility, primarily involved in administering doses for clinical studies and monitoring patients' vital signs during these studies. They will be responsible for preparing for upcoming studies, serving a healthy population of patients during clinical trial studies, monitoring dosages, observing for potential side effects, administering trial doses, reporting any observed effects, and investigating related issues.

    Summary:

    The primary role of the nurse involves providing and coordinating patient care, educating patients and the public about various health conditions, and offering advice and emotional support. This includes providing basic medical care and treatment to patients.

    Job Responsibilities:

    Gather patient information for admission, including medical records and insurance details.

    Record vital signs such as height, weight, temperature, and blood pressure.

    Assist patients in preparing for medical examinations and collect samples.

    Attend to patients' sanitary needs such as bathing and dressing.

    Monitor patients, document changes in their condition, and take necessary actions.

    Utilize medical equipment such as catheters, tracheotomy tubes, and oxygen suppliers.

    Collect and perform routine laboratory tests on samples like blood and urine.

    Provide direct patient care based on individual needs as per the care plan.

    Administer prescription medications and injections following specific policies and procedures.

    Skills:

    Strong verbal communication, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.

    Basic ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

    Fundamental knowledge of diagnosing and treating human injuries and diseases.

    Proficiency in analyzing data and accurately documenting results.

    Familiarity with the Nurse Practice Act and legal implications of nursing actions.

    Education/Experience:

    5-7 years of experience required.

    Associate's degree in nursing mandatory, with a preference for a Bachelor's degree.

    Valid nursing license required
