Are you ready to tackle some of the biggest challenges in AI and biology? At ZipBio, we are seeking versatile software engineers eager to work across multiple areas of our transformative platform. You will contribute to:

• Optimizing cloud infrastructure for AI science and model training.
• Managing large biological datasets and improving data warehousing.
• Manage ZipBio git repos adhering to best practice in code development.
• Developing tooling for large-scale AI model inference.
• Developing tooling to improve productivity of the design team.
• Enhancing scientific code and engineering to accelerate research.

While professional experience and qualifications are key for this role, make sure to check you have the preferable soft skills before applying if required.

As a key member of our small, pragmatic team, you will:

• Collaborate with a team of experts in computational protein design, AI, and life sciences.
• Work autonomously, empowered to make significant contributions.
• We work hybrid, at our office in Seattle. (This position is not remote.)

Minimum Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of industry software engineering working in a cloud environment (GCP required, AWS preferred)
• Experience in developing machine learning systems, both in training and inference phases.
• Adept at quickly learning the nuances of new industries to develop tailored software solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the biotech/life sciences field.
• Experience in developing data warehousing solutions.
• Proficiency in cloud infrastructure deployment.
