Job summary
This position is responsible for providing safe and effective patient care in an outpatient endoscopy lab settingResponsibilities include directing unlicensed employees activity assisting in specialized procedures administering conscious sedation synthesizing patient information assessment of patients planning of care intervention teaching of patients family implementation of treatment plan documentation evaluation.
Minimum Qualifications Education See License Certifications Experience One year acute care experience as an Endoscopy RN Outpatient Services RN phlebotomy skills required In lieu of this experience consideration will be made for an employee with strong education associated experiential background Phlebotomy proficient Proficient in order entry word processing Knowledge And Skills Able to communicate effectively in English both orally writing Able to work multitask in a fast paced environment effectively managing prioritizing delegating patient care completing work assignments other duties assigned Demonstrate knowledge common disease process treatment modalities interventions Have above average computer skills Licenses Current active California Registered Nurse license Current American Heart Association BLS Current American Heart Association ACLS CGRN preferred Equipment Computers monitors printer fax photocopier pneumatic tube system Omnicell telephone IV pump endoscopic equipment electro cautery system Physical Requirements Must be able to perform essential physical job requirements
