    As a Human Resources Intern, we'll give you real-world skills and experience to learn more about Human Resources (HR). Join XPO and start building the career you've always dreamed of.

    What you'll do on a typical day:

    • Work alongside the Human Resource team to drive change initiatives to our field operations
    • Act as the intern liaison for other local XPO interns
    • Create an HR intern manual/how-to guide for future use
    • Support onboarding and off-boarding activities
    • Support internal HR audit and Talent Acquisition functions
    • Provide assistance and support for on-site trainings
    • Serve as a key contributor to projects that impact the business and solve real problems
    • Utilize a survey platform for local polls and the tracking of engagement events

    Complete other duties and special projects as needed

    What you need to succeed at XPO:

    At a minimum, you'll need:

    • High school diploma or equivalent, and currently pursuing a bachelor's degree
    • 2 or more years of relevant coursework
    • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)

    It'd be great if you also have:

    • Education toward a bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field
    • Completed 1 HR internship
    • Intermediate knowledge of SharePoint
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Solid organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to set priorities and meet deadlines
    • Energetic work style with a strong drive to succeed
    • Self-motivated instincts with the ability to work well with minimal supervision or in a team environment and consult with team members/management as needed
