    Description

    We have an excellent opportunity in our Washington DC Office for an entry level Paralegal in our Litigation group who will on a daily basis provide support to Litigation attorneys.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

     Assist attorneys in day-to-day matters;

     Assist with all aspects of litigation process including managing day-to-day case status;

     Assist with preparing for and attending trials;

     Proofread and edit documents;

     Create and maintain case binders and other records as assigned;

     Prepare interview binders for upcoming depositions;

     Other duties as assigned.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

     Four-year degree required (min. 3.0 GPA upon graduation);

     Interest in the legal profession;

     Strong analytic, organizational and problem solving skills;

     Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; anticipate needs/requirements;

     Ability to perform all duties with little supervision while demonstrating sound judgment;

     Strong verbal and written communication skills;

     Demonstrated expertise using Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint;

     Able to make an approx. 2 year commitment to the position;

     Flexibility to work overtime required;

     Able to start full time employment, Summer 2024.
