    Join the Hostess Brands Team and help us inspire moments of JOY for our customers, consumers, stakeholders, and each otherJob DescriptionJob Overview The Brand Manager is a key leader within the Brand Management team to provide ongoing brand and category leadership and business and consumer analysis to drive growth in the business and to lead decision making for the team and the organization.

    ResponsibilitiesEnable delivery of revenue, volume, and gross profit targets for assigned business portfolioIn-depth analysis of Nielsen syndicated data, point-of-sale and/or other research, category and consumer data in support of marketing initiatives, identify business opportunities, and make recommendations to achieve marketing goalsLead cross-functional teams and external agencies to execute all aspects of the business plan, including branding, packaging, consumer promotion, and trade supportDevelop and maintain internal and external presentation decks, including customer facing marketing materials and/or communicationsCollaborate with Sales, insights and category management teams in developing the viability and execution of customer business strategies.

    Monitor, evaluate, and report out execution of programs to key stakeholdersWork with the Marketing Activation team to manage agencies and outside marketing vendors involved in the creation and execution of marketing materials and programs, ensuring that both the messaging and the budget allocated to that messaging is appropriate and strategicPartner with Innovation and/or Marketing Activation in annual brand and innovation plans, and lead the delivery of those plans to marketAssist in the development of a robust, insight driven product pipeline by researching and analyzing marketing, consumer, and sales data and presenting market trends and competitive analysis resultsQualificationsP&L leadership, forecasting, business planning and execution experience required; Must have high financial literacy and strong business acumen across all organizational disciplinesWorking with a P&L to achieve annual plan targetsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.

    Able to analyze, synthesize, formulate, and present recommendationsPassionate about setting brand strategy and driving growth by better meeting consumer needsTrack record of success in leading cross-functional teams of internal and agency counterparts
    • Consumer Insights, Sales and Trade, Marketing Activation, Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance to set and achieve goalsProven ability to thrive and drive results in an entrepreneurial environment with limited resources, including making decisions with imperfect information, managing multiple demands and thrive in a fast paced environmentAbility to influence and build credibility with all levels and functions of the organizationProficient with MS Office suite and IRI/Nielsen syndicated dataAbility and desire to coach and develop potential direct reports Food experience preferred but not requiredBA/BS in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
    MBA in Marketing preferred6+ years of brand marketing experience without an MBA, or 4+ years of experience with an MBA; Classically trained consumer packaged goods experience preferredHostess Brands, LLC is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
