    Civil Engineer - Surface Water Engineering Group

    Job Summary

    We are seeking a full-time experienced Civil Engineer to join our Surface Water Engineering Group in Denver, CO.

    The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in civil engineering and 5+ years of experience in water resources design and analysis. They will be familiar with UDFCD/Mile High Flood District processes and USDCM, and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    Responsibilities

    • Prepare detailed hydrologic and hydraulic models and design plans, reports, and other project-related documents.
    • Act as a design engineer on projects, managing time to keep within budget constraints, working with clients, preparing bid documents, and preparing quantity estimates.
    • Review work products and deliverables prepared by other staff and provide comments and direction.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, preference given to those holding a Master's degree in Hydrology/Hydraulics.
    • Professional Engineer (PE) license.
    • At least 5+ years of proven experience in related Water Resources design and analysis.
    • Familiarity with CUHP, SWMM, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, SRH2D, FLO2D, InfoWorks ICM, HY-8, ArcGIS, and AutoCAD Civil3D.

    Salary Range:

    $80,000 - $120,000 per year

    Note:

    This salary range is an estimate based on the location and job requirements.
