BrightStar Care of Pensacola is looking for compassionate, hard-working, and reliable RNs to care for our Infusion clients in the Santa Rosa, Okaloosa, and Walton County .
The infusion/wound care nurse is responsible for the assessment, treatment, and ongoing management of patients with wounds and those requiring infusion therapy.
This role involves collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
Provide 1:1 care in the patient's home.Implement treatment and plan of care using sound judgment and critical thinking.
Maintain accurate , detailed, and timely documentation consistent with the care plan and nursing processes.
Perform all skills, treatments, and procedures to the scope of practice defined in the Nurse Practice Act in the state of clinical practice and adhere to the company policy , procedures, and protocols.
Apply dressings, topical medications, and other wound care products as prescribed.Monitor wound healing progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly and educate patients on wound care techniques, prevention strategies, and signs of complications.
Infusion Therapy Administration:
Administer intravenous (IV) medications, fluids, and other therapies as prescribed by physicians.
Monitor patients during infusion therapy for adverse reactions, complications, and educate patients and caregivers on infusion therapy procedures, potential side effects, and self-care measures.

Collaborate with physicians, wound care specialists, and other healthcare team members to develop comprehensive care plans.Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers regarding treatment plans, progress, and follow-up care instructions.
Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and timely in electronic medical records.

Minimum of (1) year nursing experience
In-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures (sanitation, decontamination, etc.) Up-to-date Level 2 AHCA Background, Valid Driver's License, Auto Insurance, BLS CPR card, and an up-to-date TB skin test or Chest X-Ray
