- Put together quotes and enter orders for existing and potential customers.
- Work counter sales for customer orders and pickups.
- Answer inbound customer and prospective customer calls.
- Keep customer contact information up to date.
- Make pricing and order decisions and get approvals where needed.
- Quote projects, enter orders, coordinate deliveries, provide order status.
- Follow up on quotes and opportunities.
- Review monthly achievements with sales manager and general manager.
- Build relationships and sell additional products to current customers.
- Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.

- Intermediate computer knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

American Hose and Hardware, a Singer Industrial company, is looking for a Customer Support and Counter Sales Representative. Singer Industrial is one of America's largest Industrial Distributors with a North American footprint of approximately 100 locations and over 1,400 employees. This role involves interacting with customers at the counter, understanding their needs, recommending appropriate products, processing sales transactions, and ensuring customer satisfaction. A successful candidate will display a positive attitude, maintain an orderly appearance, and provide excellent customer service. They will work in a fast-paced environment where following complex instructions is essential. The ideal candidate will have experience in the manufacturing and parts industry, pass a background check and drug test, and be able to demonstrate a reliable and dependable work history.
