- Develop integrated Global Sales and Franchise Development B2B marketing annual plans and advertising strategies to build awareness of the Choice value proposition.
- Ensure that the strategies and plans result in the highest possible levels of business benefit, and KPIs are aligned to overall goals.
- Manage the execution of campaigns through agency partners and internal creative resources, and ensure optimal use of technology to support deployment, tracking and measurement of success.
- Partner with Franchise Development and Global Sales leadership to develop resources that equip the team with the tools, knowledge and information required to sell Choice Enterprise and the individual brands.
- Recommend, develop, and maintain sales enablement tools to access and customize sales material, fulfillment resources for tradeshow assets and promotional materials, messaging tools, and brand and product training.
- Work in conjunction with PR on opportunities for speaking engagements and thought leadership opportunities for Global Sales and Franchise Development. Partner to integrate editorial coverage and media placements.
- Develop the strategies and oversee execution of both Sales Team's presence at key industry trade shows and conferences, including event sponsorships, on-site marketing, booth spaces and pre/post-event marketing.
- Oversee budget management and tracking.
- Continuously keep up on industry trends, direction, opportunities, and applicability as it pertains to Choice Hotels and success in the Global Sales and Franchise Development spaces.
- Leading, managing and developing a highly engaged team of B2B marketers.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 6+ relevant experience in marketing, business to business channels a plus. Travel industry experience is highly desirable.
- Track record of success in developing marketing strategies, and driving exceptional executional implementation, demonstrating collaboration with internal/external stakeholders, with a track record of solid decision making.
- Forward-thinking, strategic mindset, always thinking 3 steps ahead.
- Knowledge of B2B marketing and sales techniques, as well as broad base business acumen, strong communications skills, both written and oral. Customer Relationship Marketing (CRM) experience a plus.
- Ability to build, actively develop and effectively manage diverse teams.
- Ability to influence and drive authentic, trusted relationships with key leaders and teams.
- Strong consultative and negotiation skills and the ability to achieve corporate business objectives across functional boundaries.
- Ability to travel 20% of the time.

This is a leadership role that will report to the Senior Director, Enterprise Marketing. You will have 4 direct reports and collaborate with cross functional departments and leaders on a regular basis.

As our Director, B2B Marketing you will be based in our beautiful, state-of-the-art worldwide corporate headquarters in North Bethesda, MD. Less than 15 miles from Washington, DC, we're located one block away from the North Bethesda Metro station, with service on the Red Line and the MARC Brunswick line, easy access to I-270, and plenty of free parking provided by Choice Hotels.
Right now, our associates in corporate headquarters are working in a hybrid environment, up to 4 days per week in the office and virtual from your home office the remaining days.
