The Role:
Bar Back - Circulo
Union Representation:
This position is represented by Unite Here and is subject to the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
Responsibilities
Have bars set up and stocked one hour prior to the start of each function.
Keep ice bins filled at all times.
Cut all fruit used for garnishes and keep back-up containers of fruit filled throughout the shift ensuring safety procedures are followed.
Keep beer coolers stocked.Help to replenish and stock supplies throughout the shift, (i.e. cups, straws, napkins, fruit, refill back-up juices, refill condiments, change soda as needed).
Empty trash cans.
Perform general surface cleaning tasks as directed.
Remove empty bottles and trash using proper recycling procedures.
Remain professional behind the bars, banquets, or service bars when guests are visible.
Provide exceptional customer service.
Work safely, following all established safety rules and regulations.
Communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors and guests.
Follow all relevant policies and procedures.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Must possess good communication skills.
High school diploma or GED preferred but not required
Prior bar experience preferred.
Must be detail-oriented and organized.
Must be friendly, courteous, cooperative, and reliable.
Must possess excellent customer service skills
Must possess good communication skills
Must be able to report to work on time as scheduled
Must be able to work weekends, holidays and nights as needed
Must be able to successfully pass a background check.
Must present an overall professional appearance and report to work in appropriate attire
Must be ABC certified at time of hire and maintain certification throughout employment.
