Overview:

Marian Home, a skilled nursing facility in Fort Dodge, IA is seeking a compassionate Full Time HR/Payroll Coordinator. The Marian Home is committed to residents and employees. The successful candidate is responsible for all Human Resources & Payroll related duties for the facility, to include but is not limited to recruiting, hiring, retention, benefit administration, scheduling, payroll and many other items to help ensure the success of the facility. Routine audits of to ensure adherence to policies and regulations are also included in this role. 

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will preferably possess 1-2 years of previous experience in HR Management as well as payroll processing experience for approximately 100+ employees. The ideal candidate will also display excellent customer service skills as well as attention to detail throughout their work and willing to cope with changes in their day-to-day operations. High school graduate or its equivalent required. Previous experience or college degrees in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or related field preferred. Candidate would need to work well independently and in a team environment. 

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Processing bi-weekly payroll accurately and in a timely manner

- Assist accounting with recording of payroll related expenses

- Prepare and assist with quarterly and annual audits

- Maintain adequate and detailed payroll records as required by law and keeps the records properly stored for future reference. 

- Process Payroll Based Journal (PBJ) reports and others as needed

- Review and reconcile benefit invoices monthly

- Assist with all benefit administration projects, new hire orientations, recruiting and employee retention

- Maintain personnel records, health insurance records, workers compensation records

- Special duties assigned by supervisors
