- Evaluate patients prior to surgery
- Provide patient and family education surrounding the procedure and peri-operative process
- Assume responsibility for patient preparation, including intravenous therapy, preoperative medications, and surgical site verification
- Participate in surgical site verification, including briefing, time out, debriefing, and universal protocols, according to hospital policy
- Recognize and respond to patient emergencies
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care while managing evidence-based practices and continuous improvement initiatives
- Be an integral member of a dynamic interdisciplinary team – consisting of the provider(s), surgeons, surgical technologists and more

We are seeking an Operating Room Nurse for our ambulatory surgery center who demonstrates the values of our company by caring like family. You will be an amazing addition to our team by contributing your expertise in the circulating or scrub role. You will ensure safe and effective nursing care until your patient is transferred from your care to recovery.

Trident Surgery Center locatedin Charleston, South Carolina. We serve the residents of our city and the Lowcountry area ofSouth Carolina. This includes Beaufort, Jasper, Hampton and Colleton counties. Our AAAHC accredited center performs over 400 procedures a month. Services in dental,gastroenterology, gynecology, plastics, orthopedics, podiatry, ENT and urology procedures areavailable. We are located off interstate 26. We are a member of Surgery Ventures powered by HCA Healthcare.
